I am a High School student currently attending a local private school.
I was first started into this hobby through 4-H. I am in a local 4-H club that consists of sheep, llamas, rabbits, dogs, and
poultry. I show at local fairs throughout the summer. I plan to do all the fairs that have rabbits this upcoming show season.
I haven't been to a show dedicated to just rabbits or a breed specialty show, so that's another goal of mine this upcoming
show season. I also ride horses and show them competitively.
Originally i was going to get started with Netherland Dwarfs but as
you can see that didn't fall through. I held off on buying some stock because i wanted to make sure i was going to raise the
right breed for me. So one day while looking at some reputable Netherland Dwarf breeders' sites i came accros a Holland Lop
breeders website. Instantly i was captivated by these cute, chubby, floppy eared, small creatures. After being
hooked to these creatures i started to look on my other well known breeders sites. Then i found an amazing
rabbitry with high standards and fitted all the criteria that I was looking for. This was how it all began.
I do have one Netherland Dwarf now as a pet and she's grumpy (although i love her dearly). I do love the blues,
REW's, blacks, otters, and sables. With the help of this breeder I became confident and felt that I would be provided
with some great foundation stock. Throughout all the e-mails we settled on four rabbits that i could benefit from, and it's
with great excitement that i begin my endeavor on raising Holland Lops.
